Well buddy is 7 weeks old today and I've officially started trying to "sleep train" him to some extent. Basically I'm trying to read his cues and get him to go down sleepy but not sleeping and then go to sleep on his own. It is very hard and today significant crying ensued. I am still trying to figure out how to soothe him if he cries without teaching him that if he cries I'll come pick him up... basically I do pick him up and make sure he isn't hungry or wet or needs burped and then when he's calm and sleepy again I put him back down. We'll see what adjustments I need to make but tonight it only took 2 cycles of this to get him to go to sleep in his pack and play on his own. I'm calling that a success :-)
Ok, now on to pictures...

staying up for blackhawks games is quite exhausting (don't worry I didn't really let him stay up) |
